Role Description

As an Senior iOS Software Engineer on our Mobile Engineering team, you will drive the creation of advanced, user-focused features for the Dropbox mobile app. You will lead in solving complex issues, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance app performance, security, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced, user-focused features for the iOS application.
  • Identify and fix complex codebase issues and guide architectural improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best practices in code quality and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch innovative features.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in iOS application development.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and experience with large, complex native codebases.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Swift.
  • Experience developing products for hundreds of thousands of users.

Compensation

For US Zones 2 and 3, competitive salary ranges are provided. Dropbox takes multiple factors into account including location, level, skillset, and peer compensation. Offers are generally targeted towards the middle of the range.
