Role Description
As a Frontend Product Software Engineer, you will craft seamless, intuitive user interfaces that power Dropbox’s global platforms. You will leverage your expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3 to build responsive and accessible applications that delight millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Design and build software reaching millions of daily users.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to meet user needs.
- Develop and execute long-term and short-term roadmaps.
- Mentor colleagues through feedback, code reviews, and process improvements.
- Occasionally provide on-call support for operational issues.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proven success in developing and shipping large-scale web applications.
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Ability to manage full-stack projects and deliver minimum viable products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NodeJS and server-side development.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Knowledge of Electron for desktop applications.
- Understanding of API and networking patterns including RESTful services.
