The Dropbox Marketing Team shows the world how Dropbox makes work better. As storytellers and strategists, they blend creativity with data-driven insights to build a strong brand and impact. They collaborate across disciplines such as Product, Sales, and Engineering.

Role Description

As the Field Events Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of field events marketing programs across North America. Reporting to the Director of Virtual & Ancillary Events, you will design comprehensive event programs including Dropbox-led regional events, third-party conferences, ancillary activations, and customer-driven experiences aimed at driving awareness, deepening engagement, generating demand, and accelerating opportunities.

  • Develop event marketing strategies aligned with acquisition, expansion, and retention.
  • Create and manage an events calendar for industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with Brand & Communications to ensure cohesive storytelling and creative asset production.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Integrated Marketing, and Product Marketing for unified event execution.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budget, and operational details with rigor.
  • Implement engagement strategies pre-event, onsite, and post-event for maximum impact.
  • Extend event reach digitally and track performance with data-driven insights.

Requirements

Applicants need 8+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on event and field marketing. Must have a proven track record of scaling and executing event marketing programs, strong collaboration skills, and hands-on experience with budget management, vendor negotiations, and data-driven event performance analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in marketing SaaS or productivity solutions and managing events across virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats is preferred. Familiarity with event management platforms and marketing automation tools is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a Canada pay range of $104,600—$141,500 CAD. In addition, Dropbox offers a comprehensive benefits package including flexible PTO, mental health benefits, internet and social stipends, and various other perks that support your well-being.
