Overview
Dropbox’s Virtual First model is built on simplicity, intentionality, and human-centered design. As the Director, Virtual First, you will be a strategic leader driving the evolution of our operating model for remote work. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including the Office of the CEO, Real Estate & Workplace Services, Corporate IT, and more to develop and implement programs that foster collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Virtual First Strategy & Vision: Set long-term strategy based on research and business needs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence: Collaborate with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
- Program Design & Experience Innovation: Design systems and experiences for remote collaboration using design thinking.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of program managers and specialists.
- Operational Excellence & Planning: Ensure program execution on time, on budget, with continuous improvement.
- Communication & Change Leadership: Craft clear narratives and serve as an internal thought leader.
- Insights, Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Define metrics and use data to drive program enhancements.
Requirements
10+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in distributed or remote-first environments. Must exhibit expertise in program management, strategic influence, and people leadership. Experience with design thinking and data-driven strategy is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI, emerging technologies, and external thought leadership. Advanced skills in analytics tools and a Master’s Degree are advantageous.
Compensation
Salary varies based on location zones with competitive annual base figures and additional components such as bonuses and RSUs. Dropbox targets offers between the minimum and middle of the range.
