Who You Are
As a Senior Analyst within our Risk Management and Modeling team, reporting directly to the Manager of Risk Management, you will play a multifaceted role contributing to various aspects of risk management.
Responsibilities: What you will do
- Work with the Risk Management team and main stakeholders to identify key drivers of portfolio composition, performance and unit economics.
- Development, deployment, and monitor machine learning models for portfolio management and optimized collections/sales/leads strategies.
- Develop analytical solutions that improve decision-making for conversion strategies or create staffing optimization models to enhance customer experience.
- Perform stress testing and loss forecasting, evaluating exogenous impacts and strategy effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain actionable reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and implement risk strategies (approve/decline decision and offer assignment).
Qualifications: What you will bring
- 2-5 years in a credit risk role within the financial services industry (banking or fintech).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Statistics, Economics, or other business-related fields.
- Strong technical knowledge of statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and their application in a credit risk environment.
- Proficient with various data analysis and business intelligence tools (such as Microsoft Excel, Python, Snowflake, Sigma).
- Possesses strong critical thinking skills and a bias for action, with the ability to leverage data in decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies and clearly explain them to others.
- Approaches challenges with a positive, energetic, and can-do attitude.
