We're DrinkPrime, a startup based in Bengaluru, focused on making clean, safe, and healthy drinking water accessible through IoT-enabled customized water purifiers on a subscription basis. With over one lakh users across Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad and support from notable VCs, we are set on creating history in the water purification industry.

Role & Responsibilities

As a backend developer specializing in Java, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. You will collaborate with senior developers and work across the entire software development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement business solutions.
  • Participate in all stages: planning, design, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Handle bug tickets and assist QA with timely updates.
  • Cooperate with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps.
  • Engage in peer code reviews and continuously improve code quality.
  • Explore new tools and modern development practices.

Requirements

Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields; at least 6 months of experience; proficiency in Java; strong grasp on OOP, data structures, algorithms; experience with Git.

Nice-to-Have: Exposure to Python, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), and basic knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.
