Internship Overview

The Music Intern position at DreamWorks Animation Television offers hands-on experience in the music creative, production, and administrative aspects of music for film and TV. You will assist team members with administrative duties, download and categorize music submissions, and learn the technical processes of handling cue sheets, media assets, and music publishing requests.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willingness to work in Glendale, CA.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Strong passion for music in film and TV.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong knowledge of pop culture and current artists.
  • Preference for current juniors or above.
  • Familiarity with DISCO and other music tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Program Details

This is a part-time internship (24 hours per week) from January 26 to April 3, 2026. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office initially, increasing to four days per week from January 5, 2026.
