Role Overview: Technical Presale Engineer

This role involves a strong technical orientation in cybersecurity and networking with 2–4 years of customer-facing experience. You will execute technical presales processes, run engaging demos, and serve as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring successful solution delivery and long-term customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Run Engaging Demos: Deliver technical and non-technical demonstrations to stakeholders including CISOs, CIOs, and IT/Security leaders.
• Conduct POC Processes: Lead Proof of Concept processes from setup to evaluation.
• Industry Awareness: Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and competitor solutions.
• Technical Advisory: Guide decision-makers on addressing cybersecurity challenges.
• Collaborate Internally: Work with product and engineering teams to design solution architectures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs).
• 2–4 years of customer-facing roles such as presales, training, consulting, or customer success.
• The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills as a plus.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with SOC operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Background in military technology units such as 8200 or 81.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA (Security), CompTIA Security+, or GIAC.
• Knowledge of advanced cybersecurity technologies including AI-driven solutions and cloud security frameworks.
