Role Overview

The Security Researcher will harness the power of Dream’s trillions of security signals to diagnose and alert on the latest attacker behaviors, drive context-rich signals, construct innovative research tools, and detect advanced attacker techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze network devices, configurations and security products.
  • Implement methods to discover network topology and lateral movement paths.
  • Conduct network security assessments and recommend mitigations.
  • Develop research tools and frameworks for automatic analyses.
  • Research cybersecurity threats and network-related trends.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and AI teams.
  • Act as a security subject matter expert in multidisciplinary teams.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Deep understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and security principles.
  • Experience with network topologies, captures, and flows.
  • Strong knowledge of security mechanisms, products, and detection techniques.
  • Excellent coding skills for developing end-to-end POCs.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fluency in English.
