About the Role
Dragos is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join its Quality Engineering team and contribute to safeguarding civilization. Embedded in a Product Team focused on testing the Dragos Platform, you'll document, automate, and execute test cases for new features and functionality in bare metal, virtualized, and containerized environments. Your work will ensure rapid feedback and high quality in product changes.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub.
- Triage and maintain automated regression tests.
- Raise defects and file tickets with appropriate information in Jira.
- Collaborate with Product and Community teams to automate validation of features based on system requirements.
- Provide feedback on new system features advocating for testability and ease of automation.
- Identify opportunities to improve test capabilities and procedures in various configurations.
- Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.
- Strong experience in creating CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in UNIX/Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- Proficiency with Python, PyTest, shell scripting, Jenkins, and Git.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls and the OSI Network Model.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills and capacity to mentor junior team members.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $142,000, Competitive Equity Package, and a Comprehensive Benefits Plan.
