What Our Portfolio Companies Seek

• Deep experience building and deploying blockchain protocols or decentralized systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Rust, Go, or other systems-level languages.
• Experience with blockchain architecture, cryptographic primitives, or consensus algorithms.
• Familiarity with smart contract development (CosmWasm, Solidity, or similar frameworks).
• Interest or experience in open-source contributions, blockchain security, or crypto-native research.

About the Protocol Engineer Role(s)

Depending on the specific team within Dragonfly's portfolio, your responsibilities as a Protocol Engineer could include:

• Designing and shipping new blockchain protocols with a focus on scalability, security, and decentralization.
• Conducting advanced crypto and protocol research, exploring cutting-edge cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and novel consensus mechanisms.
• Building cross-chain interoperability solutions, enabling seamless communication between different blockchains.
• Improving and upgrading existing protocols, directly contributing to live, high-impact blockchain ecosystems.
• Collaborating on open-source initiatives working closely with crypto-native communities to push the space forward.
