What We’re Looking For in a Founding Smart Contract Engineer

• A senior Solidity/EVM engineer with deep experience shipping production mainnet deployments end-to-end.
• Strong command of core standards and patterns: upgradeability, role-gated attestation flows, Permit/Permit2, Foundry/Hardhat, and secure contract architecture.
• A security-first mindset; thinking in invariants, failure modes, replay protection, upgrade policies, and audit-ready code.
• Exceptional taste in API and interface design, writing clear, minimal, well-structured surfaces for iOS, backend, and indexing layers to depend on.
• Hands-on ability to lead architecture and implementation of:
  • non-custodial escrow vaults
  • outcome attestations
  • sweep/refund flows
  • indexing/observability (logs, subgraph/indexer, reliable queries)
• Ability to make pragmatic infrastructure decisions around key management, deployment pipelines, and reliability.
• Someone who thrives in fast iteration cycles and works closely with founders to keep the blockchain rails invisible to the end user.
