Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Scientist for our Research and Development team. The role involves developing, validating, and implementing analytical methods using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS for the quantification and identification of genotoxic impurities in pharmaceutical products.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review scientific literature on genotoxic impurities and chromatography.
- Develop and optimize chromatography based methods using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS.
- Address regulatory deficiency queries regarding analytical methods.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of all reference and working standards.
- Conduct method validation studies and transfer methods to the QC department.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports on method development and forced degradation studies.
- Perform real-time sample analysis and support product development stages.
- Plan, source, and manage procurement of chemicals and laboratory equipment.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate instruments, and adhere to GLP standards.
- Ensure proper documentation for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Science/Organic Chemistry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical method development is required. Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS, knowledge of GTIs and Nitrosamines, and a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines are essential.
