Job Overview - Land Acquisition Coordinator
The Land Acquisition Coordinator at D.R. Horton is responsible for organizing and maintaining land/lot contracts and feasibility from acquisition through closing. This role is based in the Bothell office, WA, and offers annual compensation between $65,000 and $80,000 plus a discretionary bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, organize, and maintain land/lot contract files.
- Assist in permit processes, scheduling timelines, and adjustments.
- Prepare analysis and deal sheets for each site.
- Maintain status reports to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with corporate departments, title and escrow agents, and utility consultants.
- Manage documentation including title reports, environmental studies, and surveys.
- Assist with correspondence, check requests, and archival management.
- Conduct tasks in a professional, ethical manner, ensuring compliance.
Qualifications
An Associate degree or equivalent along with three to five years of relevant experience is required. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, advanced Excel knowledge, excellent business writing, and proficiency with MS Office.
