Job Description

HR Technology Leader at DPR Construction

The People Technology Leader is a pivotal figure within the Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) workgroup, which is an integral part of DPR Construction's Technology & Innovation (T&I) integrated workgroup (IWG). ETS is responsible for delivering robust enterprise technology solutions across DPR and its Integrated Entities. This leadership role demands both strategic foresight and operational excellence, as it involves developing and executing the technology roadmap that directly supports the organization’s overarching People strategy.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the evaluation, implementation, optimization, and governance of all People technology. This encompasses critical systems such as HRMS, HCM, LMS, and other related enterprise platforms. The HR Technology Leader is tasked with ensuring that all People technology solutions are scalable, secure, user-centric, and precisely aligned with business objectives. The ultimate goal is to enable efficient processes, foster data-driven decision-making, and deliver an exceptional employee experience. This leader will collaborate extensively with other departments within ETS, across T&I, and various business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of technology services throughout the organization.

This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere within the continental United States. Occasional travel for meetings, up to 15% of the time, is required.

Exercise sound judgment on expenditures and ensure the team meets deadlines for accounting activities, including invoice coding/review, timecard entry, and expense report submission.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendors supporting the Department, including managing contract renewals. Coordinate with Risk Management for contract reviews, including terms & conditions and service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure contracts are appropriately scaled for usage, growth, and priorities, and that DPR Intellectual Property is protected during negotiations and discussions with external parties.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with leaders in HR and other People functions to ensure People systems effectively support their organizational priorities.
  • Work alongside other T&I leaders to address opportunities and challenges, enhancing service delivery. Communicate resource gaps and identify opportunities for sharing resources across teams.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is effectively shared with appropriate levels of your team.
