DP World is seeking a strategic and operational leader to bridge the gap between regional Contract Logistics (CL) teams and the central Technology group. This role is crucial for defining, aligning, and executing a unified CL strategy with a primary focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and the digital roadmap. The objective is to enable optimal solutions that drive operational excellence and support DP World's ambitious growth.

The successful candidate will ensure regional business requirements are integrated into global technology solutions and promote the consistent adoption of global standards to accelerate digital transformation and value creation across the CL organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the global Contract Logistics technology strategy, aligning with business growth and digital transformation goals.
• Translate regional and customer-specific logistics needs into scalable, future-proof technology solutions.
• Develop a multi-year roadmap for digital solutions including WMS, TMS, automation, visibility, analytics, and customer interfaces.
• Act as the liaison between regional teams and the Technology group, fostering cross-regional alignment and best practice sharing.
• Define and oversee global KPIs, OKRs, and success metrics for platform performance, adoption, and business value.
• Build and support a community of super users in the regions to ensure knowledge transfer and coordinate WMS enhancement prioritization.
• Support change management and training initiatives for system upgrades and new deployments.
• Serve as the global owner of WMS and TMS strategy, ensuring consistent deployment, scalability, and business process alignment.
• Oversee system enhancement prioritization, guide product development, and manage vendor interactions.
• Drive harmonization and reduce customizations through standardized solution adoption.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, data governance, and IT security standards.
• Monitor emerging CL technology trends and propose innovations in coordination with the global Automation and Innovation group.
• Facilitate best practice sharing and identify optimization and standardization opportunities.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Minimum 10 years in Contract Logistics, with at least 5 years in IT or digital transformation roles.
• Proven success managing WMS systems at scale (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Infor).
• Global/regional experience in a multinational logistics or supply chain organization is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of CL operations and the impact of digital tools on productivity, visibility, and service quality.
• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with both tech and operational leaders.
• Project leadership experience, ideally in large-scale WMS implementations.
