Assistant Quality Control Manager

Overview

Doyon Management Services provides Design-Build and General Construction Services on demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations. The Assistant Quality Control Manager reports directly to the Project Manager and Corporate Management to ensure adherence to all quality standards across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the Quality Control Plan.
• Review complex contract specifications and technical drawings.
• Create, review, and amend Project Quality Plans.
• Approve submittals and manage RFIs.
• Prepare detailed Daily Activity Reports.
• Coordinate and supervise quality control and assurance programs.
• Communicate with client quality assurance personnel.
• Implement USACE Three Phase Quality Control Process.
• Track project costs and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in construction quality control on government projects.
• Experience with USACE or NAVFAC projects and Quality Control Systems (QCS/RMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Certifications such as Construction Quality Management Control for Contractors (CQM) required.
• Preferred additional certifications: OSHA, First Aid, Fall Protection, LEED.

Additional Information

This role is located at a project site in Bremerton, WA and is not a remote position. It involves both indoor and outdoor work environments and physical demands including lifting and manual tasks. Drug testing and Federal Background/Security Clearance are mandatory.
