This permanent role is available in Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle or Canberra, commencing January 2026.
Role Overview - Demand Management Coordinator
Your key responsibilities include:
- Assist the ICT Manager in implementing a JCG-aligned governance framework.
- Maintain compliance with Defence security standards (PSPF, DSPF, ISM).
- Advise on ICT risk, configuration, cyber worthiness and document changes.
- Manage daily operations of DESN systems, network diagrams, and asset registers.
- Coordinate change requests, patching, upgrades and support ICT performance metrics.
- Liaise with Defence stakeholders, service partners, and subcontractors.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field. Vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) are desirable. You must be able to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required) and desirable to possess a White Card and site access credentials.
Experience in system/network administration, ICT configuration, change control, data management and a strong understanding of ICT infrastructure and government security frameworks is essential. Additional skills include analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and precise technical documentation.
