Overview
The Global Account Manager at Dow Jones reports to the VP of Global Accounts and is responsible for both retention and growth of strategic and complex global accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities in the banking and financial services sector.
- Build and deepen relationships with senior-level decision makers.
- Lead strategic account planning and management.
- Maintain and grow contract revenue while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate revenue forecasts and manage competitive intelligence.
- Organize cross-functional teams to meet global financial services client needs.
- Communicate the value of Dow Jones solutions tailored to clients' needs.
- Maintain up-to-date client records in the global CRM system.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven success in managing large, global accounts.
- Experience in B2B subscription sales in financial services.
- Strong network within investment banks, asset managers, or consultancies.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work with senior executives and manage cross-functional teams.
- High commercial and market awareness.
