Summary
The Crossroads Project Manager is a grant-funded position supporting the day-to-day operations of the Fields Corner Crossroads Collaborative. Funded by Boston Children’s Hospital (Children’s Health Equity Initiative, CHEq) and Atrius Health Equity Foundation (Youth as Health Care Change Agents), the role focuses on implementing workplans, coordinating youth programs, and ensuring activities align with grant objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Youth Board and Youth Council meetings and activities.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of youth leadership positions.
- Manage timelines, outcomes, and record keeping for program activities.
- Facilitate participatory budgeting and oversee a $100,000 budget.
- Assist in evaluation, reporting, and proposal drafting for donors.
Supervision & Meetings
Work closely with the Youth Coordinator, Project Director, and consultants to align activities with workplan objectives, including conducting monthly and bi-monthly meetings with detailed note taking.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of facilitation/coordination experience.
- Proven experience leading project initiatives with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Boston’s working class and communities of color.
- Commitment to racial and economic justice with clear communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole or Vietnamese) are a plus.
