Key Responsibilities
The attorney will structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of intellectual property and commercial transactions including license, service, development, distribution, and partnering agreements. This role involves advising on high-stakes transactions and agreements that involve intellectual property assets and technology commercialization.
- Work on M&A, public offerings, and financing transactions.
- Negotiate and draft licensing and commercial agreements.
- Advise on structuring intellectual property transactions.
- Collaborate with teams across various industries.
- Operate within Dorsey’s Technology Commerce practice in the Corporate Group.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials and a minimum six years of relevant experience. Bar admission in Minnesota, California, Utah, Texas, or Washington (or ability to gain admission) is required. Strong communication, legal writing skills, and attention to detail are essential.
