The Leave of Absence and Accommodations Center of Excellence is part of our broader People Operations team. We operate in over 40 countries, making this an exciting time to join us.

About the Role

This role supports DoorDash employees through the entire leave lifecycle. You will guide employees, managers, and stakeholders through initiating leave, coordinating complex programs, ensuring compliance with global regulations, and managing accommodations efficiently.

You will work closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, and other key stakeholders while managing a complex caseload and driving continuous improvement projects with a focus on automation and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day leave and accommodation activities.
  • Coordinate programs including STD, LTD, and local mandates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for ADA and legal compliance.
  • Manage a complex caseload from initiation to resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement and strategic automation projects.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of high-level experience in managing centralized leaves and accommodations.
  • Expertise in global leave laws including FMLA, ADA, and international regulations.
  • Experience with leave tracking HRIS systems such as Workday and leave vendor management platforms like Absence Soft.
  • Outstanding communication, judgment, and multi-tasking skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $100,600 to $148,000 USD, plus opportunities for equity grants. Comprehensive benefits include a 401(k) plan, paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits, and more.
