The DoorDash Recruiting Team is focused on building DoorDash culture, one quality hire at a time. As the Director, Technical Recruiting - Engineering, you will play a critical role in shaping our technical recruiting function to empower local economies.
About The Role
You will be responsible for developing and driving a scalable recruiting strategy to support our growing Engineering organization. In close partnership with Engineering leadership, you will:
- Lead global engineering recruiting strategy to attract top technical talent.
- Manage and develop a high-performing, globally distributed recruiting team.
- Establish forecasting, analytics, and reporting for key recruiting metrics.
- Offer strategic counsel to senior leaders and hiring managers.
- Design scalable processes, tools, and systems for recruiting.
- Champion proactive hiring strategies aligned with future pipeline needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance DoorDash’s employment brand.

If you are a seasoned recruiting leader with at least 12 years of experience, a track record in engineering recruiting, and a passion for diversity and inclusion, this role is for you. You will bring executive-level insights and guide your team through complex hiring challenges.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range is $190,400—$280,000 USD plus equity opportunities. Comprehensive benefits include a 401(k) plan with matching, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, wellness benefits, generous paid time off, and more.
