About the Role

The Business Systems Analyst, Compensation & Analytics at DoorDash plays a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the Workday Compensation and Reporting modules. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of People Technology, you will collaborate with People Operations, Total Rewards, People Tech, Finance, and HR Business Partners to design, optimize, and maintain scalable, compliant, and efficient compensation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align compensation programs with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
  • Assist in executing compensation cycles including merit increases, equity grants, and promotions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement system enhancements
  • Gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation
  • Monitor, troubleshoot system issues, perform data validations
  • Stay updated on Workday releases and industry best practices
  • Provide training and documentation to end-users

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience with Workday Compensation and Reporting modules
  • Experience with Workday configuration, calculated fields, EIBs, business processes, condition rules, and security setup
  • Proficiency in building custom reports, dashboards, and matrix reports
  • Experience supporting compensation cycles within Workday
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical partners
  • Knowledge of compliance standards related to compensation and reporting
