About the Team
The Workplace Services and Facilities team at DoorDash operates offices and facilities including Labs, DashMarts, and Kitchens. They build spaces that are inclusive, inspirational, and functional to help employees do their best work.
About the Role
As a Regional Facilities Operations Manager, you will support the growth of DoorDash's New Vertical businesses and corporate offices by managing operations for over 150 facilities across the US. You will launch new sites, manage decommissions, expansions, relocations, and remodels while leading cross-functional projects and ensuring effective facility management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage outsourced management teams for repairs and maintenance.
- Act as escalation point for the East Region with afterhours support.
- Develop and improve the Facility Operations Playbook.
- Project manage critical initiatives including change management plans.
- Develop relationships with Landlords and Property Management groups.
- Collaborate with teams (HR, IT, Safety & Security) on emergency and continuity plans.
- Track facility expenses and create dashboards for trends.
- Perform regular site inspections and resolve systemic deficiencies.
- Travel up to 25% for site support.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-unit Facility Management experience.
- Experience with work order management systems such as ServiceChannel.
- Experience managing remote facilities and teams.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant certifications or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage escalations.
- Background in mechanical, electrical engineering, or energy management a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is market-dependent (ranging between $81,600 and $120,000 USD) with additional opportunities for equity grants. Comprehensive benefits include a 401(k) plan with matching, generous paid time off policies, health benefits, wellness programs, and more.
