About the Team

DoorDash’s mission is to grow and empower local economies by connecting people through shared experiences. The Social Products team is an early-stage group within the Core Consumer Design Team focused on building an authentic, inspiring new platform from the ground up.

About the Role

As a Staff Product Designer, Social Products, you will lead the end-to-end design of an emerging social platform within the DoorDash ecosystem. You will shape the product’s vision, experience, and identity from inception and own the complete design lifecycle—from early strategy to delivery of high-quality work.

  • Lead design for a brand-new product experience.
  • Simplify ambiguity into clear user journeys and principles.
  • Elevate visual and interaction design standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research teams.
  • Prototype rapidly and iterate based on user feedback.

Compensation & Benefits

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is available in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City, following a hybrid model with in-office presence 1–2 days per week.
