About the Team
DoorDash’s New Verticals team focuses on growing non-restaurant bets across all DoorDash lines of business. The team manages the strategic vision, acquisition, management and development of partnerships outside of our restaurant business. They are at the tip of the spear for many of DoorDash’s growth bets.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager for DoorDash, you will lead relationships and negotiations with Convenience/Alcohol companies in the broader US ecosystem. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, entrepreneurial, with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills and a knack for solving ambiguous challenges.
- Own and refine strategy for DoorDash partnerships in convenience and alcohol sectors.
- Manage a pipeline of accounts at all relationship phases.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for future partnerships.
- Lead deal processes and draft proposals for external partners.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You are impact driven, detailed-oriented, strategic, gritty, self-motivated, and a problem solver. You bring 6+ years of business development/sales experience, preferably from high-growth or early-stage startups, along with a Bachelor’s degree.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is based on experience and work location. In addition to a competitive localized base salary, opportunities for equity grants and sales commissions are included.
