Role Summary
The Quality Control Technician II role involves hands-on experience in packing and formulation product evaluations. You will audit products throughout their life cycle in our fulfillment center ensuring the highest quality standards are met. You must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, performing in-line inspections, and documenting any non-conformances.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of incoming products and packaging items.
- Review paperwork and release products into the warehouse management system.
- Collect data and samples for non-conformances and support investigations.
- Oversee rework processes and in-line quality checks during fulfillment.
- Manage product retains and support traceability and recall exercises.
- Assist in quality programs and Six Sigma/5S projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years in an operations environment (manufacturing, fulfillment, etc.).
- 3+ years in consumer packaged goods, personal care, pharmaceutical or food industry.
- Experience with WMS Software (SAP, HighJump, Korber, JDA, etc.).
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Position Type & Schedule
This is a full-time hourly position with shifts either Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Salary & Benefits
