Position: Dockworker

This full time role is based at our St. Louis, MO Terminal. The dockworker is responsible for conveying freight to and from trailers and storage areas using manual effort or equipment.

Essential Functions

  • Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Load and unload freight per DOT guidelines using hand tools and forklifts.
  • Sort and secure items to prevent damage.
  • Use various material handling tools such as carts, dollies, and pallet jacks.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and complete daily paperwork.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent, able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally, pass a physical and drug screen, and consent to a ten-year work history check.

Working Conditions

Work involves heavy lifting, operating forklifts and other equipment, and exposure to extreme temperatures and dusty conditions. Adherence to federal, state, and company regulations is required.
