Job Description

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life for over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries. Our solutions accelerate business processes and simplify lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unlocks business-critical data trapped within documents, which traditionally remains disconnected from systems of record, leading to lost time, money, and opportunities. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions from the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

The Opportunity

Docusign operates a dedicated Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) that delivers enterprise-grade AI and automation solutions using leading platforms like UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure AI/Document Intelligence. As a Sr. Intelligent Automation Engineer, you will be a pivotal contributor in scaling Docusign’s enterprise-wide Intelligent Automation capabilities. This role involves working at the intersection of business, engineering, and AI to design, build, and operate resilient automation solutions that drive measurable business outcomes, encompassing both development and support responsibilities.

This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Principal Automation Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product managers, enterprise architects, and security to define automation roadmaps and identify use cases.
  • Architect end-to-end automation solutions across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and coding to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Review technical designs, estimates, and assess solution feasibility.
  • Provide hands-on coding and technical support during US PDT hours, including critical month-end and quarter-end periods.
  • Maintain and evolve the automation platform roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders and delivery partners.
  • Oversee IPA platform performance, solution maintenance, and reporting hubs.
  • Own the design principles, architecture standards, and coding best practices specifically for the UiPath/Power Automate platform.
  • Manage the technical infrastructure setup for new capabilities within the UiPath Platform.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure system health and performance.
  • Ensure strict compliance with enterprise security, architecture, and governance standards.
  • Guarantee the long-term stability and effectiveness of automation solutions.
  • Enforce coding standards, security practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage multiple priorities seamlessly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle Quarterly and yearly Internal/External Audit, ITGC, and User Access review tasks.
  • Explore and integrate hyperautomation technologies, including AI/ML, intelligent document processing, and process mining.
  • Lead proof-of-concepts for new automation capabilities and platforms.
  • Communicate technical findings and solution recommendations effectively through presentations and visualizations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and continuously upskill through certifications and training.

Work Arrangement

This is a Hybrid position, requiring employees to divide their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required, with a minimum expectation of 2 days per week in-office, though frequency may vary by team.
