Job Summary
At DoctusTech, we are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience to take on key responsibilities in deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing essential integrations for our customers. If you possess a strong background in software engineering, particularly with Python, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
Objectives of this Role
- Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production systems.
- Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
- Management of creation, release, and configuration processes for production systems.
- Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products to enhance our infrastructure.
- System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.
- Conducting pre-production acceptance testing to ensure robust quality assurance.
- Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
- Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements to optimize operations.
- Definition and deployment of systems for comprehensive metrics, logging, and monitoring on the AWS platform.
- Designing, maintenance, and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.
Required Skills
- Over 5 years of relevant experience is a must-have.
- Demonstrated experience with core AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and ELK stack.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes; prior experience with AWS ECS or EKS is a plus.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience in multiple production deployments, preferably with Python projects.
- Robust understanding of CI/CD Pipeline integration.
- Strong understanding of High Availability systems and Single Point of Failure protections.
- Experience with JSON or YAML is a plus.
- Experience with core Azure services is a plus.
Candidate Requirements for Remote Work
- Own laptop (at least 16GB RAM and i5 processor).
