Working in the product team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams.

What You’ll Do - Senior Product Manager Data Management

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the DODO team in the Platform domain, which manages the data management products to store, view and update persistent data. The Platform domain mission is to build and maintain the common building blocks of our system with a "Platform as a Product" mindset. We abstract and simplify the use of these complex, critical components, enabling product teams to focus on their core mission: building products faster for healthcare professionals and patients. We focus specifically on databases with a strong emphasis on quality, scalability, and usability. All Doctolib product teams build their features on top of the foundations we provide, leveraging the components we design to accelerate development while ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and security. As a Senior Product Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Scope and prioritize requirements for data management products used by more than 600 engineers, including multiple datastores, file storage, data access and data lifecycle solutions.
  • Understand the satisfaction drivers and increase the satisfaction of engineers working on those products
  • Define the vision, success metrics, and own the product strategy on data management products
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to build a prioritized roadmap and product plan to deliver this vision in a scalable way
  • Partnering closely with staff and senior staff engineers to understand the technical impact of complex architectural decisions, and facilitating consensus across diverse and strongly-held viewpoints.
  • Be able to explain and convince the different stakeholders about your choices
  • Lead the execution of the projects autonomously, from problem definition to solution framing, specs writing, validation of developments, rollout and follow-up results and impacts
  • Define each project's specifications and ensure key product management processes for the confidentiality and security of health data
  • Work closely with our end users and cross-functionally with development teams, quality analysts, and data analysts in an agile environment.
  • Contribute to the global growth of the product team by engaging in knowledge sharing, best-practice implementation, and creating new processes to help us adapt as we scale

Who You Are

If you don’t meet all the requirements below but believe this opportunity matches your expectations and experience, we still encourage you to apply!
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Product Management with direct product ownership: you have worked with developers, led rituals, wrote specifications
  • Have extended experience on technical products and platforms
  • Are passionate about solving complex and technical problems
  • Possess strong experience developing/launching products in a large scale international B2B environment, where you need to change the foundations without slowing down the feature development pace
  • Always put the user in the center of your work and want to be close to them
  • Speak English & French at least on a C1 level
  • Think global/act local and are used to working in an international environment
  • Are ambitious to transform healthcare with an entrepreneurial mindset
