Design the Future of Surgical Care Technology
DocSpera is transforming the way healthcare providers, hospitals, and medical device companies coordinate surgical care. Our Surgery Care Operating System helps streamline workflows, improve communication, and support better patient outcomes across the entire procedural journey. Supporting over 500 healthcare institutions and 1 million+ annual procedures, we're building the digital infrastructure that powers modern procedural care.
We're seeking a UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and collaboration. This is an opportunity to own the user experience from concept to launch, creating intuitive solutions that simplify complex healthcare workflows while partnering closely with product and engineering teams.
What You'll Do
Product Design & User Experience
- Design intuitive web and mobile experiences for healthcare providers, hospital staff, and industry partners
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Conduct user research and usability testing to continuously improve the user experience
- Transform complex workflows into elegant, easy-to-use solutions
- Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library
Front-End Development
- Translate designs into responsive, production-quality interfaces
- Develop front-end components using modern web technologies including React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate APIs and connected healthcare data sources
- Ensure applications are accessible, responsive, and optimized across devices
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, implementation, and customer success teams
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and project coordination
- Communicate design decisions and project updates to stakeholders
- Help ensure projects move efficiently from concept through delivery
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of UI/UX, Product Design, or related experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end digital product design
- 2+ years of hands-on front-end development experience
- Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern design tools
- Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare, HealthTech, MedTech, or regulated industry experience
- Enterprise SaaS product experience
- Experience conducting usability research and user testing
- Background building design systems and component libraries
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Familiarity with cloud-based software environments
