Job Overview
The Product Design Director is responsible for solving real problems for real people. You will own the user experience of Docplanner’s Practice Management Software product and AI efficiency tools for doctors and receptionists across all markets.
Key Responsibilities
- User-Centric Vision: Champion research-driven design decisions.
- Problem Framing: Define clear problem statements before ideation.
- Design Leadership: Mentor and lead the design team.
- Outcome Focus: Drive measurable improvements in user experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and analytics teams.
- Rapid Iteration: Emphasize prototyping and testing over perfection.
- Strategic Influence: Connect design decisions to business goals.
- Communication: Articulate the rationale behind design choices.
Qualifications
8+ years in Product Design with at least 3 years in a leadership role, demonstrating expertise in end-to-end design and a strong portfolio. Experience in tech and SaaS environments, with a solid understanding of systems thinking, user empathy, and collaborative creation.
