Position Summary

As an After-Hours Field Operations Support Specialist, you will collaborate with technicians and customers to create and maintain service calls based on geography, priority, and problem type, ensuring maximum efficiency for service delivery. You will communicate with customers and colleagues using computer and telephone systems.

Essential Functions

  • Provide DSM support for both East and West Coast regions.
  • Manage work orders: schedule, monitor, and update after-hours calls to meet SLAs.
  • Process WDA: review, update, and close work orders as needed.
  • Coordinate travel: handle requests, adjust itineraries, and assist technicians with flight arrangements.
  • Process battery orders for technicians.
  • Monitor parts orders and shipment statuses; communicate progress with DSMs.
  • Support the call center in emergency responses by dispatching technicians promptly.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reporting for seamless handoff to daytime operations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multitask with attention to detail in communications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and company-specific software.
  • High school diploma or GED required; customer service experience is a plus.
