About The Opportunity
As a Database Administrator at DMI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our database systems across various environments.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive database engineering support across development, testing, and production environments.
- Execute database migrations, upgrades, and validation processes.
- Perform security hardening of databases to protect sensitive information.
- Manage cutovers and transition packages for operational and maintenance support.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server database administration.
- Proficiency in SQL troubleshooting, deployment validation, and rollback procedures.
- Experience developing runbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strong understanding of database security principles and practices.
- Experience with hybrid/cloud databases, High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions, and replication.
- Familiarity with backup automation, Terraform/Ansible/scripting, and CI/CD pipelines for database changes.
- Experience providing Operations, Readiness, and Review (ORR) support.
Background Requirements
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain and complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
