The Opportunity: AI Technical Lead
The AI Technical Lead within the AI & Automation team will be pivotal in shaping the design of systems developed by multiple teams, ensuring technical excellence, and driving impactful solutions. This role demands strong collaboration across various teams, robust technical leadership, and active community contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of systems developed by multiple teams.
- Define and implement best practices for engineering and operational excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with team leaders and stakeholders to ensure continuous delivery and project success.
- Provide expert solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Contribute significantly to technical design and project management efforts.
- Focus on continuous delivery and foster strong collaboration with team leaders.
- Ensure the delivery of impactful solutions within established timelines.
- Lead operational practices and thoroughly examine production behaviors.
- Define and implement improvements for operational practices, ensuring system reliability and scalability.
- Research and propose innovative solutions to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Understand crucial business interdependencies and drive strategic technical initiatives.
- Align technical solutions directly with broader business goals.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-specialists and stakeholders.
- Share valuable technical knowledge and influence team decisions.

- Serve as a Tech Lead Champion in the hiring processes.

Essential Skills:
- Proven experience interacting with systems across teams using synchronous and asynchronous communication.
- Ability to understand trade-offs in decision-making and effectively manage crisis situations.
- Expertise in automation and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in LangChain and LangGraph for building and managing language models.
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services.
- Relevant experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.
- Deep understanding of Software Architectural principles and practices.
- Adept at defining best practices for engineering.
- Skilled in collaborating with other teams on system design and architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-specialists and stakeholders.
- Ability to share technical knowledge effectively and influence team decisions.
- Strong capability to foster a collaborative environment within the team.
