Position Summary
The Human Resources Specialist - Employee and Labor Relations position at DLA Careers offers a valuable opportunity to work on Federal civilian labor relations and employee relations matters. The role involves providing advisory services to managers, supervisors, and employees across various locations including Whitehall, Fort Belvoir, New Cumberland, Tinker AFB, Warner Robins, and Ogden.
Key Duties
- Participate in Federal civilian labor and employee relations programs.
- Advise managers and supervisors on disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters.
- Assist in union negotiations and manage employee counseling on sensitive issues.
- Perform duties at GS-09, GS-11, or GS-12 levels with corresponding specialized experience requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Federal regulations, drug-free workplace policies, and security requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience corresponding to the GS grade level applied for. Educational qualifications may substitute for experience at the GS-09 and GS-11 levels. Comprehensive documentation including transcripts is required when education is used to qualify.
