Job Description
Desktop Support Engineer
Dixit Infotech Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. This role requires flexibility for rotational day and night shifts, as well as working on public and festival holidays with compensatory off provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting hardware issues for Desktops and Laptops.
- Coordinating with Vendors and OEMs for warranty support.
- Installing and troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Providing support for BitLocker encryption and VPN configurations.
- Configuring corporate email and Wi-Fi connectivity on smartphones.
- Supporting Retail IT Devices including POS PCs, Thermal Printers, Barcode & POS Scanners, HHT Devices, and Laser Printers.
- Performing basic network troubleshooting for Routers, Switches, and Access Points.
- Installing and supporting business productivity tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Outlook (configuration, email backup), OneDrive, and MS Teams.
- Installing and conducting basic troubleshooting for Antivirus software.
- Logging and resolving incidents/issues within defined SLA timelines using Service Now or similar ticketing systems.
- Providing on-site (hands & feet) support for networking and server equipment in coordination with other service providers.
- Managing assets and tracking inventory using Excel.
- Communicating effectively via email for updates, escalations, and coordination.
This position requires a commitment to rotational day and night shifts and flexibility to work on public and festival holidays, with compensatory time off provided.
