Overview
Divergent, a technology company known for its Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS), is transforming manufacturing through machine learning and advanced production systems. The role of Senior PLM Administrator is critical in ensuring the robustness, reliability, and scalability of our Siemens Teamcenter PLM ecosystem.
Purpose
As our Senior PLM Administrator, you will join our Enterprise Applications team to manage and optimize our PLM system. Your focus is on configuration, support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of PLM processes.
The Role
- Administer, configure, and support Siemens Teamcenter (Rich Client & Active Workspace).
- Lead upgrades, patches, and testing across PLM environments.
- Manage user access, roles, and licenses ensuring system security.
- Support integrations between Teamcenter and NX CAD/CAM, ERP, and MES.
- Configure and maintain workflows for design, change management (ECO), and manufacturing release.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Siemens and IT teams.
- Develop documentation, training materials and uphold PLM best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and manufacturing teams.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years administering Siemens Teamcenter and NX in enterprise environments.
- Experience with installation, upgrades, patching, and configuration of Teamcenter.
- Strong PLM concepts including product structures, workflows, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with Active Workspace configuration, BMIDE, and scripting (ITK, Tcl, Python, SQL).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience integrating PLM with CAD systems and other enterprise tools.
- Background in manufacturing, high-growth tech, or hardware companies.
Work Environment & Compensation
This is an on-site role at our Torrance, CA headquarters. The compensation will be commensurate with experience and responsibility levels, with a pay range based on evaluation through our interview process.
