Software and Systems Quality and Test Manager

Your Role

You will join a booming Engineering division, taking on a transversal and strategic role, at the heart of interactions between development, architecture, operations, and management.

We are looking for a confirmed / senior profile (5 to 8 years of experience) who has already led QA activities and coordinated complex technical projects in a demanding environment. This position offers strong autonomy and real visibility, with potential for evolution towards a Lead and/or Management role.

Key Missions

• Strategy & QA Leadership: Define and drive the global testing strategy (functional, integration, performance, security, end-to-end).
• Project Management & Coordination: Plan, prioritize, and coordinate QA activities in alignment with project milestones.
• Transversal Communication: Act as the interface between Development, System, and Product teams. Foster a quality culture through clear communication.
• Technical Expertise: Supervise test automation and its integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Innovation: Structure and optimize the use of AI to improve test and documentation generation, maintenance, and analysis.
• Quality & Traceability: Ensure traceability requirements ↔ tests ↔ deliverables and manage anomaly resolution.
• Compliance: Contribute to compliance with applicable standards (possible exposure to DO-178C or aeronautical environments).
• Collaboration: Support the upskilling of the QA team and collaborate closely with Development, System, and Product teams.

Desired Profile

Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory)

• 5 to 8 years of experience in software/system QA or project leadership.
• Solid experience in leading technical projects (planning, meeting deadlines, priority management).
• Confirmed experience in automated testing (Robot Framework or equivalent).
• Proficiency in CI/CD environments (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and software architectures (API REST).
• Fluent English is imperative: In an international team, mastery of English is essential for daily collaboration and writing technical documentation.

• Excellent communication skills: Ability to convince, unite, and adapt to various stakeholders.
• Ability to structure processes while remaining pragmatic and agile.

Desired Skills (Nice to have)

• Experience in aeronautics, space, or a critical environment (DO-178C).
• ISTQB Certification.
• Experience in using AI applied to testing.
• Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
