About The Role & Program
Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings the magic of Disney’s stories, franchises, and characters to families worldwide. This global marketing organization impacts The Walt Disney Company and global markets with a renowned portfolio including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, 20th Century Fox, National Geographic, and Star Wars.
If selected for the Social Media Marketing Strategy Intern role, you will report to the Manager, Social Media Marketing Strategy. The internship will run approximately from January 2026 to June 2026.
What You Will Do
You will produce innovative social media ideas to support Disney Consumer Products. Responsibilities include:
- Ideate content concepts for Disney products on social platforms and analyze performance.
- Capture and edit content, producing multiple deliverables weekly.
- Build community for social platform handles by engaging with content and connecting with followers.
- Provide insights into Gen Z trends and ideation during team sessions.
- Develop social media plans/calendars and influencer lists for gifting opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Candidates should be active on social media, possess strong content creation skills, be familiar with TikTok, and have creative thinking abilities. Partnership and relationship skills are important.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop & Illustrator), previous social marketing for entertainment brands, and marketing strategy experience are advantages.

Eligibility Requirements & Additional Information
Candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college/university, be at least 18 years old, and have unrestricted work authorization. The internship requires full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) in Glendale, California with possible evening or weekend work. Reliable transportation and housing arrangements are necessary. Compensation is set at $22.50 per hour with select benefits available.
