About Health Intelligence: Business Intelligence

The Health Intelligence – Business Intelligence unit builds information assets used across various reporting channels. These assets support data scientists, risk analysts, and the data analytics teams with integrated, dynamic reports and dashboards.

Role Overview

An Intermediate BI Analyst Developer bridges the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions by designing, developing, and maintaining BI systems to enhance decision-making.

Key Purpose

Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand KPIs and reporting needs.

BI Solution Development: Design and develop reports, cubes, dynamic or static dashboards using Microsoft reporting tools and other standard platforms. Perform unit testing and SQL scripting on Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and similar platforms.

Data Management: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across BI platforms following best practices in data governance and security.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units. Provide training, support, and gather feedback to continually improve BI solutions.

Performance Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Optimize queries and reports for efficiency, maintain documentation, and stay updated with BI trends, tools, and technologies. Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., star schemas)
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Expertise in Entity-Relationship diagrams and report design

Education and Experience
