About the Corporate Travel Advisor - After Hours Role

As a key member of the Operations Team at Direct Travel, the Corporate Travel Advisor is responsible for efficiently managing comprehensive domestic and international travel arrangements. The role involves handling air, hotel, ground transportation, rail, and limo bookings while ensuring adherence to company travel policies and vendor agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete travel arrangements using corporate contracts and preferred suppliers.
  • Support multiple client accounts with domestic and international travel needs.
  • Operate within detailed procedures and support first-level customer service issues.
  • Ensure compliance with client travel policies while maximizing profit.
  • Adhere to Direct Travel standards including telephone and email etiquette.
  • Participate in training and staff meetings; may require office work occasionally.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Thorough knowledge of airline ticketing rules and regulations.
  • High proficiency with Airline GDS systems, especially Apollo.
  • Ability to produce the lowest logical airfare within client policy.
