Position Overview

As a Software Engineer in Test II at Diligent, you will work with cross functional teams to understand customer needs, design functionalities, and translate requirements into test plans. You will evaluate risks, build and optimize automation frameworks for our SaaS microservices, and develop tools to enhance development, testing, deployment, and monitoring using AWS and serverless technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain automated testing for existing and new features.
  • Support manual testing including functional, regression, and exploratory cross-browser tests.
  • Develop test scenarios, maintain a test case library and update regression cases.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes.
  • Utilize AI tools for test case generation, debugging, and documentation responsibly.
  • Participate in code/test reviews and team architectural discussions, mentoring junior engineers.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years experience in automated testing for web applications.
  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of QA and testing best practices with tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and Zephyr.
  • Proven ability to use AI tools to enhance productivity, testing, and development.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience with TypeScript for developing efficient and type-safe automation frameworks.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
