Your Role as a Social Media Manager
We are looking for a Social Media Manager (m/f/d) to support our team in Hamburg.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage social media campaigns and always-on communication for national and international clients.
- Develop cross-channel strategies (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and implement them with teams from content, design, community management, paid media, and data.
- Create and coordinate editorial plans and oversee the production of social media content.
- Analyze target audiences, trends, and platform developments, and integrate these insights into your work.
- Undertake project management tasks, coordinate internal processes, and ensure the smooth execution of campaigns.
- Analyze campaign performance, create reports, and derive data-based optimization measures.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, presenting concepts and results clearly and convincingly.
- Support the development and coaching of junior team members.
- Depending on the project, also work on communication measures for institutional or socially relevant topics where clear and responsible communication is particularly important.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional experience in Social Media Management, ideally in an agency or with major brands.
- A completed degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media Management, or a comparable qualification – understanding digital brand management is important to us.
- Ideally, you have already managed projects involving institutional communication or socially relevant topics.
- Proficient use of tools such as Emplifi, Sprinklr, Meta Ads Manager, or TikTok Ads Manager.
- Good knowledge of project management – you plan processes, coordinate internal teams, and ensure projects are completed on time and efficiently.
- Experience in creating strategies, reports, and performance analyses, combined with a good sense for content.
- Understanding of digital brand management, paid mechanics, and social KPIs.
- Independent, structured way of working with a hands-on mentality.
- Very good German and English language skills.
- Team spirit, openness, and a desire to develop further.
