Digitas — The Networked Experience Agency.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our intelligence team in Sydney.

More than just number crunching, in this role, you’ll assist in gathering, processing, and analysing data to help make informed decisions for our clients. Working closely with the Analytics Manager and Strategy Director, you’ll generate actionable insights that directly influence high-profile marketing campaigns and business strategies. You’ll work with diverse data sets and develop a well-rounded analytical skill set.

Responsibilities

Day to day you’ll:

  • Assist in collecting, organising and visualising data from various sources (internal systems, databases, and external data providers).
  • Clean, preprocess, and structure raw data to ensure it is accurate and usable for analysis.
  • Perform basic data analysis using statistical methods and tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights using various campaign and other data
  • Create and maintain data visualisations, reports, and dashboards to present findings.
  • Help design and run queries to extract data from databases using SQL or other data tools.
  • Support senior team members in preparing data for reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and contribute to projects.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across various platforms and tools.

Qualifications

The person we are looking for has:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL , ( MYSQL, T-SQL), and experience querying databases, (eg; SQL Server Management Studio).
  • Proficiency with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Understanding of campaign analytics, minimum knowledge of how a campaign is run

Bonus Points For Experience With

  • Python, R, or other programming languages used for data analysis.
  • Data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Salesforce CRM and marketing cloud
  • Data cleaning and transformation tools
  • Cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
