Role Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, Marketing & Growth at DigitalOcean, you will shape how GTM and Growth teams measure success through clear metrics and actionable insights. Reporting to the Director of Ecosystem & Growth Operations, you will focus on forecasting key metrics, building dashboards, uncovering trends, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze growth levers, funnel & marketing performance to drive revenue, LTV:CAC, and retention.
  • Develop scalable dashboards and reports using SQL, Python, and BI tools like Looker and Amplitude.
  • Ensure data quality with continuous improvements in metrics alignment with Finance and Data & Analytics teams.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests, feature launches, and campaigns alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize AI-powered analytics tools for efficient data cleaning, summarization, and forecasting.
  • Translate complex analyses into simple narratives for executives and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance teams to align on KPIs and insights.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and business implications clearly.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years in data analytics with strong SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Experience using BI tools, particularly Looker, for creating scalable dashboards.
  • Skilled in forecasting growth metrics across marketing, sales, or GTM teams.
  • Experienced in A/B testing, causal inference, and statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM-based tools for data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for distilling complex findings into actionable insights.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proven track record in cross-functional engagements.
