Role: Influencer Partnerships Vetting Coordinator, Japanese Language
We are currently seeking an Influencer Partnerships Vetting Coordinator, Japanese Language to remotely assist our Partnerships team. This is a high-intensity, 2-week project sprint requiring a dedicated commitment of 40 hours per week (80 hours total). The project is scheduled to start early May.
The Vetting Coordinator will primarily support influencer initiatives by meticulously reviewing and vetting creators for brand safety and competitor alignment. Fluency in both Japanese and English is a mandatory requirement for this role.
We are looking for a detail-oriented early-career professional with a strong interest in influencer marketing. Relevant coursework or internships within entertainment, retail/consumer brands, and/or gaming sectors are considered a plus.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in Japanese and English.
- Some experience or exposure to influencer marketing, social media, digital marketing, or a related field (internships and academic experience are welcome).
- Strong understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms.
- Highly detail-oriented to ensure quality work and consistency.
- Ability to research and evaluate influencers based on specific campaign criteria.
- Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Your Availability
Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM any US time zone. This is a remote position within the US.
Your Impact
- Review and vet high volumes of Japanese-language influencer content for brand safety and competitive alignment with accuracy and consistency.
- Translate influencer content accurately from Japanese to English.
- Support creator discovery by researching, evaluating, and documenting potential partners based on campaign criteria.
- Follow established workflows and meet provided deadlines for all deliverables.
- Track assigned tasks diligently and provide regular updates on project status.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support project execution effectively.

Compensation
This is an independent contractor (1099) engagement. The rate is all-inclusive of taxes, insurance, and equipment; no company-sponsored benefits are provided. Compensation is based on experience.
