We are seeking a Behavioral Health Content Coordinator who can write clear, empathetic, and accurate content, ideally with real experience in treatment, recovery, and/or mental health. Position Overview
The Behavioral Health Content Coordinator supports our Content Manager by writing, editing, and organizing content for various client accounts. This position combines writing, light SEO, and content operations, including Trello task management and WordPress formatting. You will be instrumental in creating SEO content that is human, trustworthy, and grounded, avoiding generic or overly clinical styles. While senior-level writing isn't required, the ability to produce clean, trustworthy copy and a willingness to learn our specific style are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, empathetic, and accurate content about addiction, recovery, and mental health.
- Draft and revise blog posts, service pages, and treatment-related content.
- Improve and humanize AI-assisted drafts as needed.
- Follow SEO guidelines, including headers, keyword alignment, and search intent.
- Format and prepare content within WordPress (no coding knowledge required).
- Manage content tasks in Trello and maintain organized workflows.
- Perform light editing and quality checks on drafts.
- Assist with internal linking, metadata, and content updates.
- Collaborate closely with the Content Manager to ensure consistent voice and quality.
- Quickly ramp up and produce strong, reliable drafts after initial training.

- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clean, human, and empathetic content.
- Working knowledge of SAMH treatment concepts and levels of care.
- Strong, current knowledge of SEO writing principles.
- Ability to follow editorial direction and adapt to a consistent voice.
